Seeing some great progress in the institute from our martial arts athletes. We are really proud to congratulate Jamie Spencer-Pickup on his selection to the 2019 GB Junior Squad. Jamie commented ” Im thrilled with my achievement, all my hard work is paying off. However its only the start and I have a lot more I want to achieve but massive thanks to the DIS especially around my nutritional support its contributed massively.” Will Haywood (pictured) also collected Derbyshires Young Sportsman of the Year and after a national selection in Tae-Kwon-Do has since decided to refocus his attention back to Karate
